Autumn is the perfect time to be outside with your family and enjoy the cooler brisk weather while enjoying the changing of the leaves and season. In North Carolina there are multiple events and places to visit this fall season, even some in Union County. Here at Spivey Insurance Group we wanted to make sure you and your family kick off this fall season with some quality time with your family.
Aw Shucks Farm is located here locally in Monroe. Aw Shucks Farm is a popular fall destination for all ages. There is a 6-acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch, hayrides, an animal barn, frequent concerts on their outdoor stage, bonfires, a fishing pond, a haunted trail, and an old-fashioned general store with all sorts of interesting things. This is a one stop shop for all your fall festivities.
Renaissance Festival. is located in Concord, NC. Hundreds of costumed characters bring 16th century history to life with performances, games, demonstrations and more. There are activities such as jousting matches, falconry, artisan vendors, hands-on activities and more. The festival is open Saturdays and Sundays September 29 – November 18.
SCarowinds is a haunted edition of the theme park Carowinds. Located on the NC/SC border there are 16 haunted attractions and shows. This is the largest Halloween event in Charlotte. If you are a season pass holder you are able to get in for free, but tickets range as low as $29.99. SCarowinds starts select nights from September 15th through October 29th.
Family Fall Festival in Indian Trail. The event is on October 6th from 11am-1pm. Come out to Indian Trail’s first Family Fall Festival. This community festival will feature vendors, demonstrations, performances, live music and a cultural enrichment. The location is at Chestnut Square Park, 320 Chestnut Pkwy., Indian Trail.
There are so many fun great opportunities in the Union, Cabarrus, and Mecklenburg County areas. The fall season is all about the beautiful colors and enjoying some outdoor fun with your family.
