Here at Spivey Insurance Group we are happy to have a new Personal Lines Agent, Lisa Starnes. She recently joined the team in December 2016. Lisa is a big part of what makes Spivey Insurance Group function each day. We would like for you to sit back and get to know Lisa. Yes, I have been in the industry for over 30 years.

What’s the best part of the job?

The people.

When you are not working what do you like to do?

Some of my hobbies are working in the yard, going to the beach, and being outside.

Are you from this area?

Yes, I currently live in Charlotte, NC

If you could describe yourself in one word what would it be and why?

Busy. Because my day starts at 5am and I don’t stop throughout the day until it is time for bed.

What was your most recent vacation spot and the activities you enjoyed while away?

I recently visited Ocean Isle Beach, NC. My favorite part of the trip was relaxing on the beach and visiting Southport.

Can you tell me a little bit about your family/home life? Pets? Kids?

I am married for 33 years and have one son. We do not have any pets. I also come from a very large family and am one of six children.

What are some skills you have at Spivey Insurance Group that can help our customers?

I love working with people and have been in the insurance business for 30 years. I try my best for help my clients on a daily basis.
