Here is a brief description of Beth Thomas and what she enjoys doing in her spare time and what she has to offer to Spivey Insurance Group. Beth is a big part of what makes Spivey Insurance function. We wanted to let you get to know her a little better.
Explain your previous job or insurance experience you may have:
I have been working in the insurance field for the past 5 years. For the last 4 Years I have been at an independent agency in Charlotte where I was exposed to both personal and commercial insurance.
Can you tell me a little bit about your family/home life? Pets? Kids?
I was raised here in Union County which is where I meet my husband, 12 years ago. We have a 10-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son. They keep us busy! We just lost our dog, Scruffy, the beginning of November. He was an Austrian Shepard and we miss him very much.
What’s the best part of the job?
Being able to work with knowledgably people and furthering my commercial understanding.
If you could describe yourself in one word what would it be & why?
Oh geez, one word?! I guess I would say practical, always looking towards practicality.
What are some skills you have at Spivey Insurance that can help our customers?
General Liability/workers comp/and commercial auto for contractors is what I have the most experience in.
When you are not working what do you like to do?
I enjoy playing tennis, spending time with my family and reading.

To clean! I am a big clean freak.

It is hard to find peace in quiet at my house but when I can I try to get outside. Being outside is where I find the most peace.

My taste in music changes often but currently I have been listening to Shania Twain when I want to get things done. That’s my southern roots coming through!
What are you most thankful for?
My family, for sure. My husband and I work hard to have a close loving family, it’s our greatest accomplishment.
