Spivey Insurance Group is in independent insurance agency located in Indian Trail, NC, a beautiful and growing town in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Indian Trail enjoys the best of both worlds: we boast that small-town feel and neighborly community spirit, but we sit in the shadow of Charlotte, the second largest city in the southeast, with all the business bustle and cultural advantages of a thriving metropolis. We’re a stone’s throw from some of the nation’s most scenic mountain vistas and pristine outdoor rivers, lakes, and forests.
Our insurance agency’s beginning here in Indian Trail coincided with a growth explosion that saw the population increase from 2000 in 1990 to about 35,000 today. This spawned a business boom and helped spark an exciting community revival that’s still a work in progress. Throughout the growth, we’ve retained that neighborly character and high quality of life. We’re proud that our community was named as one of the top ten best places in America to raise a family by Family Circle Magazine. It’s still a place where neighbors help neighbors, where hard work, honesty and integrity matter and where your word is still your bond.

Spivey Insurance Group is a family-owned business, built from the ground up. We live and work right here in the community, to which we’re devoted. We’re proud to be part of the growth and see small business as the backbone and support system of our community. We believe strongly that small businesses are vital in helping a community keep its distinct, local feel. Plus, two out of three every new job is created by a local business.
Our town has been good to us and we believe in giving back. We take our responsibility to the community seriously. We’re active in Indian Trail activities and in supporting Union County nonprofits, and we encourage all our employees to be active, too. We’re deeply proud of what we’ve been able to give back through the Spivey Insurance Annual Golf Tournament benefitting the Union County Christmas Bureau, which we started in 2012.
