Chris Spivey is the President of Spivey Insurance Group. “I was Looking for a career that I could move along in and make a difference in people’s lives” is the reason Chris said that he wanted to become an insurance agent. Everyday Chris says that he is rewarded as an insurance agent because he gets to help people and protect what means the most to them. Chris says he is so blessed to able to own his own business in a community that truly cares about the people who live here.
A constant reminder to keep Chris going is the quote that he lives by, ““motivation is what gets you started, habit is what keeps you going.” Chris has the quote on his office wall to constantly remind him that you have to have motivation to be able to do anything in life as well as a grateful attitude.
When Chris is not in the office, he enjoys watching re-runs of the Apprentice. If Chris could be any celebrity for a day he said he would be Donald Trump. “He gets right to it; he is just direct; he says what is on his mind. He is a good businessman, he has been on the top, bottom, and back on the top again,” Chris said.
Chris also enjoys eating soft serve vanilla ice cream and Pizza.
One thing that many people do not know about Chris is that he likes to watch HGTV. Over the years, Chris has always been known as the same guy. “The same person I met 30 years ago is the same person he is today,” said his wife Sandra.
