Here is a brief description of Colby Spivey and what he enjoys doing in his spare time and what he has to offer to Spivey Insurance Group. Colby is a big part of what makes Spivey Insurance function. We wanted to let you get to know him a little better.

Insurance Experience:
“I started at Spivey when I was born. My first word was insurance. I actually graduated from Wingate University in May of 2015 and in 2016 I was licensed as a Commercial and Personal Lines Agent.”

Can you tell me a little bit about your family/home life? Pets? Kids?
“I am part of the Spivey family, which consists of my dad Chris, mom Sandra and my two brothers Colin and Clay.”

What’s the best part of the job?
“Being able to help local businesses out. I enjoy seeing businesses be prosperous. I also enjoy connecting with the different clients all over Union County.”

If you could describe yourself in one word what would it be & why?
“Confident and ambitious, in this type of business you need to have confidence to excel. These are qualities I learned very early in life. Throughout sports and growing up and being the oldest sibling I would always look after my brothers and help my family.”

What are some skills you have at Spivey Insurance that can help your customers?
“I have innovative ideas, I am very personable, and love to work hard”

When you are not working what do you like to do?
“I enjoy playing golf and going to the lake. I also recently started a bowling league with a couple of friends.”

My close friends know I really like…
“Ranch dressing, being competitive with one another, and watching ESPN”

“Yes sir, I will take out the trash.”
