12 Mar New Season Means New Beginning, Get a Jump Start on Spring Cleaning
Even though spring has not officially begun, it is not too early to start your spring cleaning. Like many others, you probably dread thinking about this task, but it is something that must be completed. If you simply put it off each year, then the job will continue to become more difficult. Therefore, the following tips should give you a successful spring cleaning.
Eliminate clutter
When beginning your spring cleaning, one of the first tasks will be to get rid of all clutter. By eliminating unwanted items, you will find yourself with more room to do the rest of your cleaning. Furthermore, you can possibly find items that you have not seen in a while, and these items may be able to be put to use.
Clean cabinets, drawers, and closets
Clutter can accumulate anywhere, but it usually accumulates in cabinets, drawers, and closets first. As you begin to clean out these spaces, use a wet cloth to give them a thorough wiping. After you have finished cleaning these spaces, be sure that you do not begin to clutter them again. If anything has to be placed in the cabinets, drawers, or closets, make sure that it is put in neatly. Therefore, during next year’s spring cleaning, your job will not be as difficult.
Clean the refrigerator
Finally, you should be sure to clean your refrigerator. Although the refrigerator should be one of the cleanest parts of the house, it is usually one of the most disgusting. Occasionally, food that is located in the back of the refrigerator will have been forgotten about, and this food will contain lots of mold and mildew. Also, the refrigerator should be cleaned thoroughly with some type of disinfectant solution. Once the refrigerator is cleaned and disinfected, any usable items should be placed on the shelves neatly.
