28 Aug Tips to Help Your Labor Day Party a Success
Labor Day means the end of Summer is near, but make sure to go out in style. Here at Spivey Insurance Group we love to celebrate the end of summer. Many businesses in our community are closed for the long weekend. This is a great long weekend to spend with your family and friends and throw a Labor Day cookout. We have some great ideas tips on how to make your Labor Day party a success.
Plan the menu. We hope the weather is nice that way you are able to grill lunch and dinner for your family. You will be able to grill vegetables, steak, chicken, or even the traditional hamburgers and hotdogs. Make sure you always save room for dessert! Go look on Pinterest or Food Network for delicious recipes.
Decorate for the Party. Make sure your color scheme is fun and festive. Use the colors red, white, and blue for party accessories, balloons, plates, and napkins.
Plan fun activities. Some great outdoor games are cornhole, tug of war, volleyball, and Kanjam. Make sure when you are playing games to listen to some great music in the background. Another great idea is to build a fire and roast s’mores.
With the summer coming to an end before we transition into fall weather, here at Spivey Insurance Group we want you to have a fantastic weekend with opportunity for three days of rest, relaxation, and summer fun. We love to see what you are doing this Labor Day weekend. Share with us your eventful weekend on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
