11 Sep 14 Years Later, Our Legacy is Strength-
The American hearts will forever be scared from the tragic falling of the Twin Towers and the attack on the Pentagon 14 years ago. September 11, 2001 is a day of remembrance for all those who innocent people who lost their life. But 14 years later, we stand as a stronger country. As we remember all the victims of the attack, we also can remember all the strength we have built in the United States. 14 years later, the American spirit is full of life.
On that day 14 years ago, President George W. Bush commented himself “And I pray they will be comforted by a power greater than any of us, spoken through the ages in Psalm 23: ‘Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me.’ ” We as the American people have walked through the shadow of death 14 years ago, and today we stand as a nation, fearless.
So when you hear talk of 9/11, do not just think of it as a tragic day in history. Think of how far we have come as a country and how much our strength will continue to grow. So on September 11, 2015 shake the hands of your fellow Americans and remember our legacy that helped us become such a strong and fearless nation.
