Build a “rainy day” cushion. Finance experts recommend that you keep three to six months’ worth of expenses in an emergency fund or in a savings account. This is important in an unpredictable economy.

Give it away. Donate some or all of your tax refund to your favorite charity.

Have fun! Consider buying a new piece of technology, go on a fun weekend trip, or a nice dinner.
